Constant Voltage Ignition Supply
If you are running a MSD ignition box, you have the best system available... except for one thing. You are only supplying 12-14 volts to it. The MSD boxes perform at their best when they have 17.5-17.7 volts supplied to them, which dramatically increases the spark energy. Some racers use an 18 volt battery, but that requires a special battery charging and some costly electronics to run the rest of your 12 volt system.
Tuners Choice's "Little Black Box" outputs a constant 17.5-17.7 volts DC to the MSD box. Simple three wire hook-up requires 12 volt positive and negative in, and the 17.5 volt out to your MSD box. This allows you to retain all your current components and put the power where it's needed.
If you aren't running the "Little Black Box," you are leaving horsepower on the table.
